My path of Moving Well

Born to a builder and a theatrical poet who prioritized creativity above all else, my reverence for artistic expression and passion for finding order in chaos was cultivated very early in life. Growing up, our house was filled with myriad renovations projects always in some mid-way point of their evolution and rarely completed as the vision often outsized the capacity to execute.

Adding to this energetic set point, was the fact that both my parents see beauty in almost everything which resulted in an accumulation of “treasures” carefully collected and most often less carefully curated once procured. This was most fertile soil for the seeds of my passions for dreaming up beautifully ordered and organized spaces to grow and flourish.

As a child, I was often “on the job,” serving as my dad’s carpenter apprentice, helping with household projects. He was an excellent teacher, and I soaked up every lesson. I found early on that I thrived on the physical, mindful aspect of working with my hands—something that would later weave into my life as a Dance Educator. Meanwhile, my mother’s influence was equally profound. A passionate, dramatic woman who moved easily between the seen and unseen worlds, she filled our days with storytelling, spontaneous plays, and songs made from the ordinary moments of life.

The setting for all this spatial delight was a rural, river town; the perfect locale for me to revel in attunement with the elements. Finding my place as part of the natural world is a powerful medicine for me. It's was an obvious choice then as a young adult to go to work for an organic gardening company; an endeavor that  allowed me to bring my love of nature into my professional life.

My family’s interfaith, international, and diverse background instilled in me a deep love for humanity and a curiosity about the beautiful tapestry of cultures around the world. This curiosity sparked my lifelong passion for exploring how different belief systems and values are expressed through art, dance, and the creation of spaces. I find it endlessly fascinating to witness how people’s surroundings reflect their deeper truths and aspirations.

Always a seeker and consumate learner, my studies of Water divinity and various spiritual paths have shaped who I am at my core and are reflected in my approach to life and work.  In every endeavor, I am wired to think holistically, always considering the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual elements at play.

My creative journey has been rich and varied, with a BA in Dance and Education marking the start of my mission to share the joy of movement. Over the years, I have studied, taught, and performed dance forms from across the globe, ranging from concert performance to cultural tradition, from lighthearted fun to the deeply sacred rituals that mark life’s most meaningful moments..

Later, following my heart's calling to be a mother, I discovered Montessori education, and for 13 years, I helped found and lead a Montessori school, creating nurturing spaces for young minds. One of the primary principles of Montessori education is the understanding that environments inform our beings. Montessori classrooms are thoughtfully curated spaces that are ordered, beautiful and inviting where optimal exploration, growth and learning can occur. This was an obvious perfect fit for my love of space journey!

This journey eventually led me to real estate, where I now help others manifest their property dreams. In my real estate work, I view each transaction as a unique journey, knowing that every client and every property has its own story. Serving as a matchmaker between people and their spaces, the life stories we endeavor to write together are ones of harmony, balance and beauty.

Whether through Dance, Education, space curations/creations or real estate, I’m deeply committed to helping people create spaces and lives that reflect their truest selves. There’s nothing more fulfilling than supporting others on their path to creating environments that nurture their well-being and align with their deepest desires. It is my pleasure and honor to be of service in this way!
