DANCE & MOVEMENT PRACTICES

One of the key elements to living well is Movement. Dance has long been a most profound medicine of mine and I've spent many years on the mission to share the JOY of movement with others.

 

Dance is a vital expression of humanity that affirms, educates, entertains, and edifies us, connecting us to the essence of who we are. I have studied, taught, and performed a wide variety of dance forms from traditions across the globe, each offering a unique lens through which to discover sacred truths and cultural wisdom. From concert performances to cultural traditions, recreation to sacred rituals, and light-hearted fun to profound expressions of life’s most important passages, I delight in the rich diversity of movement practices.

 

One of the dance forms which I'm most passionate about is Raqs Sharki aka Bellydance, a timeless dance form celebrating the Sacred, Sensual Divine Feminine. With roots in the Middle East and India, this dance has traveled the world, blending with modern influences across the globe.  Sharing this dance’s capacity to activate and empower the Creative Feminine spirit is one of my most cherished privileges.

 

I currently offered weekly Goddess Gatherings and am also readily available for private and semi-private lessons.
